Hello, I'm Larry, and I am located in Helotes, Texas. I hold a bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock where I studied electrical engineering. Upon graduation, I immediately began working in my field. I spent my weekends and evenings continuing my education, earning my Master of Business Administration from the University of Dallas. Most of my work career has been with the Hewlett-Packard Company and it has taken me around the world and allowed me to work on difficult problems with engineers from institutions such as the United States Air Force, Texas Instruments, Rockwell, and Bell Helicopter. When I am not working or teaching, I enjoy outdoor activities like skydiving, hiking, skiing, and scuba diving. I also enjoy tennis, music, and playing the saxophone. Although I don't teach it, I am pretty good with Spanish language as well.I work to make learning fun for my tutoring students, as I think it is the most effective way to inspire true learning. I use real world examples and applications to help solidify concepts for my students. I am available to tutor in many mathematics and science related subjects including algebra, calculus, geometry, elementary and middle school math, statistics, trigonometry, and electrical and computer engineering.
